Dr Rizwana Mia
Rizwana Mia is a leader in health innovation with 16 years of experience, bringing together scientific expertise and strategic thinking with her educational background including Genetics & Business Administration. Her achievements include: establishing the South African Precision Medicine Program, the SAMRC Genomics Centre and currently the South African 110,000 Human Genome Program. She plays a pivotal role as the South African lead in the EU-Africa PerMed project consortium, fostering collaboration in personalized medicine, research & innovation. She is actively involved in international collaborations and serves on expert panels for industry leaders.
